Actually took me a little while to understand this. So this picture was taken inside a Pizza Hut that looks out onto the Pyramids. Nothing special. Kirby says NO WIN!
I actually think this is a huge fail. I think majestic places like the Pyramids of Gizeh shouldn’t be littered with modern junk-food franchises or other, similarly inane merchandising temples. They should be revered with well-designed surroundings, like museums and parks, not stupid food courts.
I’ve taken photos from that very same Pizza Hut. It’s actually a Pizza Hut/KFC/Baskin Robins combo restaurant. Cheesy as hell. But Giza/Memphis is really just a suburb of Cairo now. Despite what you see on TV, you don’t even have to leave the city to get there. The urban sprawl has just sort of grown up around it.
WINBlog FAIL. I’m starting to loathe some of WIN blog’s decisions. Start coming up with better wins or you are going to start losing viewers. Like me.
